On this day last year… Neil made his leap

On this day last year ~ February 22, 2013 ~ Neil Rogers was called home to spirit.  So many of us miss him dearly; his presence: so full of sincerity, honor, and humility, his love, his awareness, and his words.  Of course, his words.

Let us remember him fondly, and cherish the inspiration he continues to provide us, looking forward to the day when we meet again.

Neil, I am happy that you are now truly dancing.

~~~***~~~
"For what is it to die but to stand naked in the wind and to melt into the sun?
And what is to cease breathing, but to free the breath from its restless tides, that is may rise and expand and seek God unencumbered?
Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing.
And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb.
And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance."
~ Gibran's The Prophet
Imagine coming into a world of pure unconditional love,,our senses would be vastly expanded,,, every single one of us,
We know when we feel it here now,,the senses expand,,and a lot of us are on the defensive a lot of the time,,,so imagine if pure unconditional love was all the time,,,for everybody,,,,
I know that's idealistic and stuff,,
But for a golden period on earth we must imagine it,,
We must dream it into being,,,
~~~***~~~
Sat at the feet in the space of all learning
Grazing the fields of expanding sense
Held in the palms of all understanding
Vibrating the sequences of the great immense
Riding in patterns of hearts beating louder
Wild as the summertime colors display
Drawn on the conscious tip of devotion
Aligned on the universe sings and plays
Heaven pours through powerful motions
Life is sacred a breath of divine
Twisting and turning and dancing through flowers
The great union of the heart and the mind
Waves of harmonious vibrate the instance
Luminous tracks stir the one of all cause
Love expressing reaching onwards and outward
A cradle of sunshine living in all

Lovely and so thoughtful, Erin.
Here is a piece I title FOUND ART. There are many more where I discovered this, a huge bounty of treasure.

swift of song
shakened wander
charging buffalo
breeze of summer
forming rainbow
climbing root
lifting sounds
of sensing truths
fusing living
livened high
blossomed flowers
embrace of sky
rising rising
onwards up
mountain tempests
light above

more...

natural streams
natured tracks
of love beckons
reaches exact
the cosmic tap
of lifes flow
growing all
through all things blow
lift the notes
strum the chords
turn the moment
stirring cause
reaching far
a shift within
change awares
a new begin

heard the wind
through the trees
looked up and
felt the breeze

saw the clouds
in the sky
looked up and
wondered why

then my mind
went to you
thought about
what you'd do

you'd claim the sun
as your own
and all the earth
for you to roam

you'd take the stars
one by one
and then you'd choose
a midnight sun

the ocean's just a drop
for you now and
all the nepalese snows
[as every sherpa knows]
melt into the same sea

we'll wait, patiently
each of us, on the shore
for your wave, dear neil
to wash our heart, once more

thank you erin and nina
and any and all others
for keeping the love alive

for remembrance
is what every
pure soul
deserves

and :
don't forget to dance ha
i know you won't
and never will
