Quite a spectacle, wherever you are! Must be hard NOT to be swept up in the Divine in such surroundings.

Thank you for sharing this, my friend.

It is my great pleasure Z.

Yes, I am absolutely drowning in beauty here, and it has created a Divine Intoxication of the most exquisite kind!

Thank you for giving us a glimpse into your beautiful corner of the world. A big Wow!!
I am quite envious as I miss the mountains so very much. Many forests for me here, but I’m getting flat footed on this alluvial plain.
Thank you again for sharing the beauty of your world, sister.

You're so very welcome Bushukshi.

I adore being nestled in the midst of these great mountains. The scale of nature that surrounds me here has shifted my perspective (humans are so very tiny in comparison!) and given me great comfort.

I love the quote you shared. It is so true.

Beautiful! Of course, I like the ones with Cooper best. You are giving him the best life a dog can every have.
I'm going to have to paint the second one, the road, its the embodiment of The Road Less Traveled.
Thanks so much for this post Erin, btw, was the show video taped?
Love, nina

I am so glad you enjoyed it nina.
That is one thing I cherish here... solitude is easily found, and the road less traveled becomes the life less traveled. A very good path in these times, I would say.
I can't wait to see your painting!
I was at the butchers yesterday getting meat for Cooper, and when they found out it was for the food I make for him, they remarked how lucky he is. And I thought, how could I do any less? He is truly my heart and blessing, and I can tell he is happier here than in the city. The soft path of moss, pine needles, ferns and intertwining roots has lightened both of our steps. Concrete feels like an assault to me now.

ps
And yes, the show was taped. It will be awhile, but when it is ready you will know.
