Little Friend

I gently touched
the velvety soft petals
of a tiny purple flower
and she smiled
back at me
and
whispered a secret
that made my heart glad:
We love you as you love us.

Someday we must meet, we're a lot alike.

This post is wonderful!

nina, how did you know? I have been thinking the exact same thing in the last few days, about meeting you in person. :) Especially since I will be visiting my home state again at some time, I am sure.

The picture of this flower, she is the exact one whom I am speaking of. I am so happy I am learning to listen... and understand.

medicine sky flower
harmony breeze
birds of the mountain
deepened glow weave
waves of our nature
heart warming life
sphere of all union
vastness of light
flight of four rainbows
sail heavens seas
liberations causes
reverberate seeds
dreaming through pillows
made of the stars
stir and awaken
deep in the heart

..peace..

neil,
last night was a clear night, and I could see so many stars. there was also this amazing cloud that was like a rainbow, thin and long and arching all the way across the sky, over my house. I have never seen anything like it. It was like a bridge across heaven. You incorporated so many of these elements in your poem just now...
thank you.

Geographically, is it possible, I saw the same cloud, grey at the bottom, rich white blending to lavender, pink and fuchsia, very long, all the way across the western sky. I saw it as friendly.

Let me know when you will be back.
